    Platform notes

    • Snapchat: the code opens your "Add friend" page. Snapchat also has its own Snapcode, which only the Snapchat camera reads; a QR code works with any phone camera.
    • Pinterest: link to your profile, or paste a board link in the URL tab to send people to one collection, such as a recipe or wedding-ideas board.
    • Discord: use an invite code that never expires. In Discord, create an invite, open "Edit invite link" and set "Expire after" to "Never", otherwise the printed code stops working after seven days.
    • Threads: usernames are the same as on Instagram.
    • Reddit: the code opens a user profile. For a community, paste the reddit.com/r/… link in the URL tab.

    One code or many?

    ApproachProsCons
One code per platformOpens the app directly; easy to measure which platform growsTakes more space; too many codes confuse people
One code to a link page (Linktree or your website)Small, one scan for everythingAn extra tap before people follow you

On business cards and small packaging, one code to a link page is usually better. On a shop window or event banner where one platform matters most, give that platform its own code with a clear call to action.

    Design tips

    • Dark dots on a light background scan best on every phone. Put the platform's brand color in the frame or the corner squares.
    • Use your own logo in the center; platform logos come with brand guidelines.
    • Write your @username under the code, so people who don't scan can still find you.
    • Print at least 2.5 cm (1 in) wide on cards and 15 cm or more on posters.

    Measuring follows

Static codes don't count scans, but every platform's insights show profile visits and new followers. Compare the weeks before and after a code goes up. To count exact visits, point the code at your own website with a UTM tag and link to your profiles from there.

    Frequently asked questions

    Which social platforms are supported?

Nineteen: Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snapchat, Telegram, Threads, GitHub, Spotify, Twitch, Discord, Reddit, Behance, Dribbble, Medium and Linktree, plus any other link through the URL tab.

Can one QR code link to all my social profiles?

Yes. Point it at a link page such as Linktree (supported in the Social tab) or a page on your own website that lists every profile.

Does the code open the app?

Yes, if the app is installed. Otherwise the profile opens in the browser.

What if I change my username?

Codes with the old username stop working. Make a new code after renaming.

Why does my Discord QR code stop working?

Discord invites expire after seven days by default. Create an invite set to never expire before you make the code.

    Is it free?

Yes. No sign-up, no watermark, no scan limits and the code never expires.
